SAVE THE DATE

THE SWAN AT MARBURY BONFIRE NIGHT IS BACK! 🔥

After much anticipation, we can finally announce that The Swan at Marbury’s annual Bonfire Night is back for 2026!

Join us on Saturday 7th November for an evening of bonfire and fireworks, with food and drinks to keep you going.

Here are a few things you need to know before joining us:

🔥 Bonfire & fireworks
The bonfire will be lit at 6:15pm, with the fireworks to follow.

🍻 Food & drink
As always our outdoor bar will be serving a selection of drinks, while the BBQ will have all the classics plus a vegetarian option. The Bar and BBQ will be open from 5pm on the patio!

🍽️ Fancy eating inside?
Entry is free and there’s no need to book tickets. However, the pub gets busy on Bonfire Night, so we recommend booking a table in advance if you’d like to eat inside.

Parking⚠️

This year, we’re introducing additional off-road field parking to help manage the growing popularity of the event and improve safety for visitors and local residents. Parking is £3 per car, whether you park in the pub car park or the additional field parking area. Parking will be clearly signposted, with attendants on hand to help direct you.

Pub walk this Saturday!

A little reminder that our next Pub Walk is happening this Saturday, 10th October.

Join us at The Swan for a morning exploring the beautiful Cheshire countryside, with a carefully chosen route suitable for the whole family and, of course, four-legged friends too!

Complimentary breakfast sandwiches & hot drinks from 10:45am

Walk sets off at 11:15am

The walk will start and finish at the pub, so you can join us for a wander before settling in for the rest of your Saturday.

Come along, bring the family (and the dog!) and enjoy a morning in the countryside.

THINK YOU KNOW A LOT? LET'S PUT THAT TO THE TEST!

The Swan Sunday Quiz Nights are coming to Marbury, and we're looking for teams who know their stuff... or at least know how to sound convincing.

Join us for a proper Sunday pub quiz with 10 rounds of 5 questions, covering a little bit of everything. General knowledge, random facts and the occasional question that makes you wonder who actually knows this stuff.

Gather your cleverest mates, your resident know-it-all and the person who insists they were ‘definitely’ right on that last answer. Teams of up to 6 people, so choose your teammates wisely.

And because thinking is hungry work, we recommend booking a table for 6pm. Enjoy some good food and a few drinks before the quiz kicks off at 8pm.
