This Saturday 20th June, from 8pm until midnight, it’s time for KARAOKE at The Foresters! 🎤✨

Whether you’re planning to belt out a power ballad, absolutely butcher a classic, or simply sit back and enjoy the entertainment, we’ve got you covered.

And for those worried about missing the football… don’t panic! ⚽😉

The match will still be on the TVs in the background, so you can keep one eye on the game and one eye on whoever’s bravely attempting Bohemian Rhapsody after three pints. 😂🍺

🚨 WARNING 🚨

The Foresters reels are back… which means you lot are being filmed again! 😂😂

Before anyone asks… no, we didn’t get many of the actual goals. Every time England decided to score we seemed to be either serving at the bar, running glasses, or doing something equally glamorous. 🤦‍♀️🍻

BUT…

What we did manage to capture was the incredible atmosphere, the garden packed full of legends, the celebrations, the singing and all of you enjoying our first outdoor England screening. ⚽🌿🎉

Safe to say the garden was a hit, the 2 pint cups were flowing, and you lovely lot made it a night to remember.

Roll on next Tuesday… and we’ll try to point the camera at the screen when England score next time! 😂😂

WELL… WHAT. A. GAME. 🤯⚽🏆

Firstly, thank you to every single one of you who packed out the garden last night. The weather tried its best with a little drizzle, but not one of you let that stop the party. 🌧️➡️🍻

The atmosphere was absolutely unreal. Singing, cheering, celebrating, shouting at the referee… you lot brought the energy and turned The Foresters into the place to be for England’s opening match.

A special mention has to go to the chilli topped nachos at half time. Safe to say they went down an absolute treat! 🌶️🧀

Don’t get too attached though…

The nerves are already kicking in.

Most tables have been reserved (you lot don’t hang about 😏), but don’t panic if you haven’t booked as we do still have a handful of tables available for those wanting to turn up and soak up the atmosphere.

And because it’s a late kick-off and because we genuinely appreciate every single one of you that supports us…

🚧📺 HE’S AT IT AGAIN… 🚧📺

If you’ve popped into The Foresters this evening and wondered what all the banging, drilling, bolting and general controlled chaos is about… don’t panic, Dan’s simply found another list of jobs that apparently couldn’t possibly wait until tomorrow! 😂

Tonight’s mission includes:

📺 A brand-new TV being installed in the lounge.
🔩 The final section of the outdoor extension being bolted into place.
🔨 Various other jobs he’s discovered while walking from one end of the pub to the other.
🤦‍♀️ Probably another three projects nobody knew existed until five minutes ago.

So we’d like to apologise to everyone currently enjoying a game of pool, watching the football, having a quiet drink or simply trying to relax while our resident human bulldozer continues his quest to improve every square inch of the pub.

The good news? Every bit of noise, dust and organised madness is all for you lovely lot. Bigger, better, more comfortable and ready for plenty of great nights ahead.

Thank you for bearing with us while Dan continues his never-ending battle against sitting still. We genuinely don’t think he knows how. 🍺😂

HE DID IT AGAIN. 🤦‍♀️😂

Honestly, this man is less “human” and more “powered by determination and sheer stubbornness.”

After putting in a full day’s work, Dan came home and then clocked straight back in to get everything ready for Wednesday night’s first England match… all for you lovely lot! 🇬🇧⚽

✅ Covered area extension finished
✅ TWO TVs now in the garden so nobody misses a single kick, no matter where you’re sat
✅ Extra lighting installed to keep the atmosphere glowing long after sunset ✨
✅ Tables moved and reorganised for the best viewing possible

…and that’s just what happened TONIGHT.

A few final finishing touches tomorrow evening and then we’re match ready. The garden renovation mission is officially underway! 💪🌿

The painting, seat cushions and all the pretty bits will follow after the World Cup, but for now we’ve focused on making sure you’ve got the best place to cheer England on.

So next time you see Dan, give him a nod, buy him a pint, or at the very least don’t ask him to move another table. 😂🍻

Everyone needs a Dan in their life… although we’re lucky enough to have ours but still trying to work out where he keeps finding the extra hours in the day! ❤️

🌿🔨 A Huge Thank You! 🔨🌿

We just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone for being so understanding while the garden has looked like a building site with the occasional appearance of two slightly sleep-deprived humans covered in sawdust. 😂

Dan and Michelle have been absolute machines this weekend. The overgrown bushes have had a serious haircut, letting loads more sunshine into the garden, the palm tree has been relocated to its new home, pallet seating has been built (just waiting on cushions), the rattan set at the top is getting some TLC, extra lighting has gone up, the covered area has been extended, countless tip runs have happened, and somehow they still keep finding more jobs to do!

Honestly, there’s no stopping this duo. 🚜💪

They’ll still be out there this week putting the finishing touches together so everything is ready for Wednesday’s match, and while the garden won’t quite be the finished masterpiece they’ve got in mind, it’s coming together beautifully.

After all… Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is an epic pub garden. 🍻🌴

Thanks again for bearing with us, for your patience, and for cheering us on while we turn the vision into reality. We can’t wait for you all to enjoy it with us! ❤️

✅ Yes, it’ll be on the screens in the garden.
✅ Yes, there are still a few tables left to reserve.
⏳ No, they won’t hang around forever, especially the outdoor ones.

Now for the bit that catches people out…

🚪 At 9:00pm sharp, the FRONT DOOR SHUTS.
Once kick off happens, that’s it. No late arrivals, no “my mate’s already inside”, no dramatic sprint across the road waving your pint money. If you’re not in, you’re out.

So get yourselves here early, grab your seat, order your drinks, and settle in before the first whistle blows.

🌶🧀 HALF TIME BONUS: We’ll be serving up FREE chilli topped nachos because shouting at the referee burns calories and you’re going to need refuelling.

🚨⚠️ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BACK GARDEN BUILDING SITE ⚠️🚨

Please excuse all the banging, drilling, sawing, muttering, the occasional colourful language, and whatever other suspicious noises escape from our back garden today. 🛠️🔨😂

As we warned you earlier in the week, the garden makeover has officially begun! Yes, it’s a little inconvenient. Yes, there will be tools everywhere. Yes, Dan and Michelle will probably be held together by caffeine and stubbornness before their shifts start later today

BUT… the garden is STILL OPEN and can absolutely still be used while we’re busy transforming it into an even better place for you all to enjoy. 🍺☀️📺

Just one tiny request… please keep the complaints to an absolute minimum. After all, we’re doing this FOR YOU! 😜

Alternatively, if you’re feeling particularly opinionated and happen to know one end of a hammer from the other, feel free to grab a brew and lend a hand. We’ll even pretend not to judge your DIY skills. 😂
