Happy Wednesday everyone ☕🥰❤️

Community Cuts yesterday was another lovely day - thank you so much to everyone who came along for a haircut, some food or just a good old brew and a chat 💇‍♂️☕❤️

Not gonna lie, I'm feeling pretty tired this week!! 😴 but seeing all the lovely people who come through the doors of our little café always gives me an Uplift too 🥰 so thank you guys!! As well as helping us out with the bills you lift my spirits too!

We're having a great week so far. Things are still a little quieter between 9am and 11am, so if you're on the school run, heading to work, working from home, or just fancy escaping the house for half an hour, we'd love to see you ☕🥓🍰 and you might want to get a takeaway and you're passing on your way somewhere 🚗☕

A little reminder that the kitchen finishes serving food made to order at around 2.30pm 🍳🥪 but you can still pop in afterwards and see what's left in the cake cabinet 👀🍰

As usual on a Wednesday we have Story Time at 9.15am 📚❤️ and this afternoon Forget Me Knit will be meeting 🧶🧵If you knit or crochet or just fancy a brew and a natter, you're very welcome to come along 🥰There is a suggested donation of £2 towards the group, but as always nobody is keeping score and everyone is welcome ❤️

A reminder for anyone wanting a Father's Day order 👨❤️ If possible, please get your orders to me by tomorrow. Phone or message message📱 And remember we have SHOCAL deliveries available throughout our opening hours too 🚗

Morning guys - what a night! 🔥🚒 😔

Did anybody else get woken up by all the sirens? I posted a quick video last night when all the fire engines were there and kept peeking out of the window being nosy 👀Paul was out on the road having a proper good look 😂

It's such a shame even though it's been derelict for years, The Robin is such an iconic Stretford 🥺It’ll be so sad if that’s the end of it.A huge thank you from us to all the emergency services involved and hopefully everyone is okay this morning.🤞

Back to our little café!

Yesterday was a lovely day in the café. Lots of people working remotely with laptops, plenty of coffee catch-ups and lots of people enjoying the terrace in the good weather now that it’s not so windy. Not a bad Monday at all but as always, before 11am and after 1.30pm are our quieter times and every visit during those periods really helps us ☕Thank you for those of you who came at those times – it doesn’t go unnoticed. Just to note we stop serving prepared to order food at 2.30pm.

💇‍♀️✂️Today it’s community cuts and I'm fully booked which means poor Paul and Clarkey will be running around doing all the food and drink jobs while I sit chatting to hair clients all day 😂

Also – a little reminder that Father's Day is coming up too ❤️ If you'd like to order one of our takeaway afternoon teas, you can order today or tomorrow and collect on Saturday ready for Sunday.

AND we've got plenty of shocal available as well if you fancy a treat 😋
