I'M FRANK MORGAN - REWIRED: A Tale from Paradise Heights
Written & Directed by Joe O’Byrne
Nominated for the Salford Star Best Play of the Year Award
Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury, Sunday 21st June 2026

'If you haven’t been to watch any of the ‘Paradise Heights’ plays – do so as soon as possible. They are dark, funny, terrifying, sad, and most of all, they are unlike anything else currently on offer.' MYSTERIOUS TIMES

Some say he’s the Devil himself. Frank Morgan, gangster, loan shark, poker player, and owner of The Ace of Spades Club. He rules Paradise Heights with an iron hand and a cold reptilian charm. A cunning and ruthless sociopath, a butcher, a monster — with a dangerously sharp intelligence. He’s faced down the hardest men ever to walk the Heights, and they all ended up broken... or buried.

Something twisted and sinister is alive in Paradise Heights. A malevolent and supernatural force perhaps drawn to Frank’s dark allure - or by the mysterious, seductive Eva, ‘The Queen of Hearts’ the singer of The Ace of Spades. Eva is the one woman Frank fell for; a woman who carried her own dark secret and horrifying curse.

The Crime King is not dead, he is rising, bloodied and scarred with a defiance born of Hell and a roaring determination to hang on to his throne and he’s setting up for a brutal last stand. Come Hell, come all.

But waiting in the dark, is his most dangerous opponent of them all…
