⚠️ Horse Hazard Signs

Commuter’s will have noticed the addition of Horse Hazard Signs either side of Stocks Lane, Malvern. These have been put in place due to concerns raised about the safety of horse riders on this stretch of road and the reported poor driving when near horse riders.

Kempsey & Alfrick SNT have worked alongside the British Horse Society, the Police’s Road Safety Team and Highways (Council) to get these installed.

❗ Always think, there might be a horse and their rider around the corner❗

What should you do if you see a horse on the road?

• Slow down to a maximum of 10mph
• Be patient, do not sound your horn or rev your engine
• Pass the horse wide and slow – give at least two metres
• Drive slowly away

For further guidance visit https://orlo.uk/BHS_Advice_to_motorists_TvkMf

We encourage all equestrians to report incidents that take place on the Horse I app ran by the British Horse Society.

Report incidents to the police using Operation Snap if the incident has been video recorded or either online, 101 or 999 in an emergency if you require police action.
