Well, would you believe itā€¦ weā€™re officially 7 years old!

Seven years of pints poured, plates served, laughs shared, stories told and plenty of good times along the way.

A massive thank you to every single customer who has walked through our doors, supported us, recommended us, celebrated with us and generally helped keep the place going over the last 7 years. We genuinely couldnā€™t do it without you.

This Monday, weā€™re introducing you to Charlie!

Charlie joined our kitchen team three months ago as one of our Kitchen Assistants, and heā€™s already making his mark. His ambition? Michelin level!

Favourite dish: Roast Sea Bass Fillet, served with prosciutto, artichokes & sauce vierge
Favourite drink: Guinness

When heā€™s not in the kitchen, Charlie is a man of many talents! He loves wild camping, rugby, football and pretty much any sport he can get involved in

We canā€™t wait to see what Charlie achieves ā€” with that ambition, weā€™re sure there are some exciting things ahead!

This week itā€™s time to introduce Tom, our Deputy Manager!

Tom has been with us for 2 years, and youā€™ll usually find him behind the bar, pint in handā€¦ well, serving the pints anyway!

Heā€™s our resident ā€œhappy to do whatever needs doingā€ guy ā€” bar shift? āœ”ļø Kitchen shift? āœ”ļø Probably DIY if we asked nicely enoughā€¦ although we wouldnā€™t push our luck!

Favourite drink: Asahi
Favourite dish: Steak sandwich ā€” because why mess with a classic?

On his days off youā€™ll find him walking his golden retriever or tackling whatever DIY project his wife has decided is ā€œabsolutely essentialā€ that weekā€¦

But given the choice, Tom would much rather be at home painting miniature figures and obsessing over his extensive trading card collection.

So next time youā€™re in, give Tom a wave ā€” just donā€™t ask him what his favourite trading card is unless youā€™ve got the rest of the afternoon free!

We officially turn 7 on the 18th Septemberā€” but why celebrate for just one day when we can celebrate all week?! šŸ„³šŸ”

To mark the occasion, weā€™ll be serving up our special birthday burger menu from Tuesday 15th September until the 19th - running alongside our usual daily menu all week.

So come down, grab a burger, raise a glass and celebrate with us!

We also have the incredible Jay & Eli performing on Friday Night 7-9pm

Most importantly, we want to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who has visited, supported and shared the good times with us over the last 7 years.
