Tomorrow, I'm doing Half Marathon
Not sure why I persuaded Beverley Hooper it would be a good idea to do this one as on reflection.....its hilly ⛰️ and its October 🌧!!
But here we are the night before not feeling as confident as I hoped, but I will try my best as this is part of my training for the London Marathon in April!!!

Who's looking forward to their Mother's day hampers tomorrow??
I have just picked up some fantastic baskets from Arrangements of Boughton Monchelsea so If you add one of these you are in for a treat !!
Michael is still busy cooking sausage rolls ...its been a busy day
Deliveries will be between 9am and 12pm unless you are Lenham or Harrietsham then these will be after 12
the roads are very busy at the moment so times are approximate

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT******

Well I can honestly say we didn't see this coming
But it is with much sadness we wish to tell you that within the next few weeks we will be closing the business

There has been many emotions over the last few days
Sadness, grief, confusion, anticipation and a wonder of what the future will bring
Our landlord on our current unit has given us (and some other businesses) our notice to make room for a housing development
This was a great shock to us as we had been assured we were part of the future plans
We just don't have the time or the money to set up a new unit in the time needed so this has resulted in us needing to close
So me and Michael and now going to enjoy the reality of a monthly wage and holiday entitlement !!!

There are just too many people to thank for this amazing journey over the last 12 years ( I will do a separate post because you have been amazing)

The last two years have thrown us many curveballs and you our fantastic customers have helped us grow in this time
Two years ago for Mother's day we sent out our first Afternoon Tea hampers and on Saturday some of our wonderful customers will be having another Mother's day hamper

We will be doing a couple more offerings before we close
And you can find our produce in the many trade outlets we supply for the next few weeks
So grab a sausage roll before its too late
Because it really will be a case of when they are gone they are gone !!

The importance of shopping local ...

Today we lost a big name in local businesses from the High Street, JC Rooks closed all 11 shops. (think it was 130 jobs lost) 😢😢
The importance of shopping local and supporting local businesses instead of using the large supermarkets chains is the key. Please please use local if you can ect all depends on YOU.

By supporting your local farmers market is a great way to do it this weekend we are at Faversham Market Saturday And at Aylesford Farmers Market Sunday.
