Sunday 14th June we welcome Karl Smith (spud) back to play for us all - On the same day the old boys will take on the young boys in Robert Downs v Jackie McAfee select teams to open the balmer cup for 2026 and no better man to entertain us is spud who played for both men in mention - The football club will be doing a BBQ on the day ⚽️❤️

We are happy to announce that this year’s Macosquin FC Annual Old Boys vs Young Boys match will be held in memory of two local legends, Jackie McAfee and Scalper Downes💙

The memorial match takes place on Sunday 14th June at 1:30pm at Macosquin Football Pitch and will officially kick off this year’s Balmer Cup

Join us for what is always a great day of football and craic, followed by food, drinks, and entertainment in Mary Pats Bar🍺

All proceeds from the day will go to charities chosen by the families.
