The car park is exclusive to cars that have bought a ticket. Entrance by foot is free, and everyone is welcome to come and check out the cars and grab some food.

🕑 Convoy Departure: 2:00pm

Route & Timings (approx):
➡️ Depart Machynlleth – 2:00pm
➡️ Cemmaes – 2:15pm
➡️ Through Dinas Mawddwy
➡️ Turn left after Cross Foxes Hotel – 2:30pm
➡️ Down Tal Y Llyn Pass
➡️ Turn right towards Tal Y Llyn Lake – 2:35pm
➡️ Pass Tal Y Llyn Lake – 2:40pm
➡️ Turn left in Bryncrug
➡️ Tywyn Sea Front – 3:00pm (no shortcut through town 🚫)
➡️ Follow the coastal road
➡️ Via Aberdyfi – 3:10pm
➡️ Arrive back in Machynlleth – 3:30pm

⚠️ Important Information:

There is a small set of traffic lights shortly after departure which we cannot control. We ask that groups try to stay together where possible, while maintaining a calm and safe pace and obeying all traffic signals.

Please note that the convoy will stretch over approximately 20 minutes between the first and last cars. Police will also be present around the area.

Temporary Café Assistant

Location: Machynlleth

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Temporary Café Assistant to join our team from 1 September.

This is a temporary position running until the middle of November, with variable hours. Some weeks you may work 2–3 days, while during busier periods you could work up to 5 days per week. Working days will vary and will include occasional Saturdays. There may also be an opportunity for some ongoing hours after the temporary position ends.

Duties include:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Making coffees
• Helping with food preparation
• Cleaning and maintaining the café
• Operating the till and handling transactions
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the café

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is 18 years or older
• Is friendly, reliable and enjoys working with people
• Works well as part of a team
• Can work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays

Previous café or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided. Experience in cooking or working in a kitchen would be a real bonus, although it’s not a requirement.
