We received this lovely email from a member of the public regarding our evening service in Mablethorpe & Sutton on a Friday evening - thank you for taking the time to send the email in
Dear Suzanne,
I would like to express my sincere appreciation, on behalf of many residents and holidaymakers, for the excellent 59E evening bus service between Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer season.
It is wonderful that PC Coaches provides this service without any subsidy from the local authority. It gives people the opportunity to enjoy an evening out at the pubs, restaurants and bars in both towns without having to worry about driving, and at just Β£1.50 per journey it represents outstanding value for money.
I have found the service to be extremely reliable, consistently keeping to the timetable and, in my experience, proving far more dependable than the local taxi services at only a fraction of the cost.
I would also like to pay tribute to the drivers on this route. They are always polite, friendly and helpful, and they regularly go above and beyond what people would normally expect. They are a real credit to PC Coaches and play a big part in making the service so enjoyable to use.
The only point I would like to raise is the promotion of this excellent service. This is now the second year it has operated, yet I only became aware of it halfway through this summer. I suspect many other local residents and visitors are also unaware that it exists, which may explain why passenger numbers sometimes appear lower than they could be.
I believe the service deserves much greater publicity through local businesses, caravan parks, hotels, pubs, social media and community noticeboards. It is a valuable asset for both residents and visitors, and it would be a real shame if people missed out simply because they didn't know it was available.
Thank you once again to everyone at PC Coaches for providing such an excellent community service. I very much hope it continues for many summers to come.
