Good morning, we are super excited to say we are open from 10am tomorrow. The weather is forecast beautiful and our specials are planned.

Saturday lambs liver and onion served with mash or chips and veg £8.50

Opening day is nearly here,what have you all missed ?
I'm off to the wholesalers tomorrow so let me know what I should choose for specials, pie fillings and of course our Sunday roast meat ! I'm thinking since it's fathers day,lamb would be a good choice, I wouldn't dare to not put bread and butter pudding on but what other pudding do we fancy ?

The long awaited post, when will we be open ? We finally have the answer Friday the 19th of June, we will be back. We cannot wait to open our doors and see all our customers and friends. We would like to thank you all for your patience, concern and well wishes. I'd personally like to thank my staff who have been amazing, everyone has scrubbed in and helped, my husband Sean Brown has been my rock and the best DIY man, Barbara Ward for being the best advice and joiner, Terry Ward for always making life easier and joyful. To experience a fire first hand and to look at life through tears, has knocked me. Karen Carney and Gary have been amazing, true friends have shown themselves. My family have travelled miles to help me. A lesson in life has been learnt, life is short, surround yourself with happiness and love. We cannot wait to open our arms and welcome you all again Amanda

The doors are on the outbuilding and we are moving forward, well done to the wards/youngs and Mr brown you've worked wonders. We're still waiting on the electrical work so no opening date as of yet unfortunately. Cold Cobs will be back remmies this week, hot food is reliant on the extraction unit being repaired as it was burnt outside. We can offer cold buffets for takeaway only at the minute.

I'd like to say a massive thanks to my parents, my brother, lisa his girlfriend, dan, sam and of course the hubby. We now have a clear yard and a fence. Its been a weekend of graft, I'd much rather be cooking dinners. I'm truly grateful for everyone's help, kel and Neil have supplied any equipment we needed, Gary has been a great foreman cheering us on, Gaz and Paul have got us gas safe again, Tom's been on the electrics, it's been a mad yard but we're rolling ahead. We've got the best landlords who are amazing friends and a community helping not just with the jobs but my mental health which has had shake up. I'm not one to give up but it's not an easy road when something you put your heart and soul into, literally goes in smoke in front of your eyes. Much love to all Amanda

How long will you be closed ? We are uncertain at the moment.
Can we help ? If you know a window or door fitter, we'd appreciate a contact.
What started it ? A chest freezer.
How's the progress going ? We have had an assessor visit and can now start the clean up process.
We'd like to thank everyone for their support, we've got a long road ahead, we're mentally in a place where the world doesn't seem impossible and overwhelming. Step by step we build and gain strength.
