ANNOUNCEMENT
Christmas Extravaganza Planned For Blackpool!

Many of you will know by now that the Illuminations have been extended throughout the festive period and to make your visit even more magical, a range of events and shows are in the planning.

On the Tower Headland, The breathtaking festive village will showcase simulated snowfalls, cosy log cabins, and a magical forest, with festive light projection shows and special Santa tram rides.

The Headland will also house an outdoor winter skating rink, which will be free to use for both residents and visitors. Between 19th November and 3rd January.

You won't need to travel to a city to experience a traditional Christmas market this year either, as the Winter Gardens is set to transform into its own wonderland.

From December 9th to January 3rd, the Winter Gardens will host a Bavarian-style Christmas market with a wide selection of themed stalls, fairground rides, live entertainment and Santa's grotto.

Residents and visitors will have 2 BIG pantos to choose from with Snow White at the Grand and Aladdin at the Globe Theatre.

Viva Blackpool will host it's own Christmas Party Nights while the Opera House will play host to the feel-good West End Musical Hairspray.

There's loads more to be announced! And with the Illuminations shining nightly, is there a more magical time to visit Blackpool?

The Deckhouse is excited to announce the re-opening of its doors after these strange times and cannot wait to welcome you all back! We are open seven days a week from 10am serving hot and cold beverages, a little tipple for those who wish to partake, lots of gorgeous cakes(of course), ice cream and lovely snacks to enjoy whilst appreciating the St Annes coast. The deckhouse is currently closed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. We would just like to thank all of our customers old and new, for supporting us. Hi guys, unfortunately the Deckhouse will only be open weekends during October. With the exception of the half term. When it will open as normal, weather permitting. Thankyou Donna and the Deckhouse team.

Wow such a busy day today at the Deckhouse. The kite festival is busier than ever...and we will be doing it all again tomorrow. With a special appearance from The Travellin Strings playing for us on the open deck. All in aid of Dementia/Alzheimer's.

Its kite festival weekend...don't let the weather dampen your night for the illuminated kites and firework display tonight. We will be open till 11pm selling hot drinks, soup, warm sausage rolls and cake cake cake. Don't forget it all starts tonight at 7pm, Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 11-5. See you all soon. 😃
