VAT’S THE PROBLEM
Hospitality is more than food and drink. It’s local jobs, independent businesses, community hubs and the places where memories are made.
Right now, restaurants, pubs, cafés and hotels across the UK are facing huge pressures from rising costs, increased taxation and shrinking margins. Many great businesses are simply fighting to survive.
That’s why we’re supporting the campaign to reduce VAT on hospitality from 20% to 10%.
A VAT cut would give businesses the breathing space they need to invest, employ, grow and continue serving their communities.
