The Beach House Westover A stunning historic pub-restaurant with rooms on the edge of the New Forest. Suites add separate living areas. Cooked-to-order English breakfast is available.

This upscale guesthouse in a restored Victorian mansion features oak-panelled interiors, stained-glass windows and vintage furniture, and is a 2-minute walk from the beach, and 5.3 miles from Lymington Pier's ferries to the Isle of Wight. The 15 genteel rooms have en suite bathrooms, plus Wi-Fi, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and flat-screen TVs. Some rooms have free-standing copper bathtubs, fireplaces and furnished balconies with views of Christchurch Bay. A refined, wood-paneled restaurant serves seasonal dishes and cask ales. There's also a cosy lounge.
