Next in Tobi’s Treasures: a signature scratched into the glass from 1879 🖋️

In 1879 a ventriloquist called E. Newman stood at this window and wrote his name into the pane with his ring. It’s still there. Same glass, same hand, 147 years on!

We don’t know what brought him to Lymington, but his memory has survived the test of time!

What a start to the Summer it’s been in Lymington so far! 🌞Enjoying the Lymington Seafood Festival in the sunshine, quiet time by the quay Lymington Harbour Commissioner 🌊

We’ve loved hosting events and meeting Dorset Digital Storytellers - South Coast Creators Emma• Dorset Content Creator and welcoming back Rubyontheroadxx for a weekend cycling break 🚲

Most importantly, we’ve loved welcoming our guests to Lymington, to explore its quaint streets and enjoy Britannia House and breakfast 🍳
