We’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet! 🏆

We are absolutely over the moon to share the official results from our senior VisitEngland inspection this week. The South Lawn Hotel has officially been awarded 4 Star Hotel status alongside TWO prestigious accolades:

✨ The VisitEngland Silver Award – given to hotels demonstrating exceptional quality, service, and hospitality that completely outperforms their star rating!
🍳 The VisitEngland Breakfast Award – recognising the absolute highest tier of morning culinary skills, local ingredients, and hospitality!

Overall, our 4 star rating comes with a fantastic 83% score, placing us right at the absolute pinnacle of the 4-Star category! (The range is 70% to 84%). 🌟

Our powerhouse Housekeeping team also walked away with a massive 94% cleanliness score. A score a 5 star would be proud of, with a perfect 5/5 ‘Excellent’ in every area of the Hotel except for the restaurant, which scored a 4/5 due to a leaf that had floated in to breakfast on a welcome morning breeze through the bi-folds. Oops! 🍂

The Morgan Car Club, Folkmog - visited the New Forest coastline this year and it didn’t disappoint. Private dining in the south lawn committee room every evenings, country roads every morning and an The New Forest itinerary that doesn’t disappoint.
