Set within the Earl of Plymouth's Oakly Park Estate, The Clive Restaurant was originally an 18th Century farmhouse. In the late 1900s the building was opened as ‘The Clive Arms’ to provide a public house for the many workers of the Estate. Not until 1997 was it refurbished to a contemporary style while maintaining the original traditional features and named 'The Cookhouse'. Now a family run busine

We are delighted to be hosting the annual Knighton Historic Vehicle Club Classic Car Show on Sunday 26th July (our fifth year in a row!)

It's set to be a fantastic display where you can see over 50 classic cars. All exhibiting vehicles will be in place from 10am and will be on site until 3pm. There will be a prize giving at 2.30pm for “Best in Show” – so pop down to see a wonderful range of classic vehicles!

We're recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team! Full-time, £30,000 - £35,000

Duties will include all aspects of kitchen service, including preparation, cooking of dishes as the orders are placed and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. We offer seasonal dishes, which enables us to use ingredients directly from our own farms.

Our restaurant is open from Wednesday through until Sundays each week, so a fixed rota is adopted, with days off being Monday & Tuesday each week. Split shifts are in operation also.
