Looking back, we genuinely don’t know how we’ve packed SO much in! 😂
Our amazing Vessy has been throwing the most incredible parties for absolutely every occasion, or if there’s no reason to celebrate, she’ll just invent one🤣! 🥂🎉 From Skye’s & Becs Joint 18th & 21st Birthday’s 😜 Louisa’s 60th, Leaving dos, Holiday reunions 🏝️ Music Nights 🎶 & Team Meetings that somehow turn into parties… 🤣🎉 Always featuring Renee’s awesome dance moves & Jo’s Pack up your Sh** and go!!! 🎶
🏄‍♀️ Our Paddle Boarding adventures, only TWO fall-ins all summer… which we’re calling a success! 😂 We won’t mention Louisa’s screaming, Vessy’s face plants, Someone Naughty rocking the board & drinking too many Aspalls😂🍺 ,or the kayak that ended up sideways across the river blocking everyone! 🚤😂
We had a special helper, Vessy’s great Niece Karina, making us all laugh with her impressions of us all😆& amazing us with her gymnastics!!🤸🏽 She quickly became part of the 142 Family & We miss her so much!!🥹🩷
🍷 We hosted our very first W**e Tasting Night, after a great day of research at Flint Vineyard😜, we invited the lovely Dan to showcase their wines, alongside our tapas! & We’re now the first place in Lowestoft to stock their beautiful Charmat🥂 Vessy came back inspired after a trip to Thailand 🇹🇭 & our Authentic Thai Nights have been selling out every month!🌶️ What can’t that woman do!!🤩 (With a little help from our Pimmy!🌟) We hosted an 🤍✨ Ibiza White Party with Anne Marie🎉Face-painting from the lovely Lilly 🌻 Great Tunes from our Friend Lucy 🪽 & Too many Bounty Bar Shots😜 What a Bank Holiday!! We are still finding glitter everywhere!!✨
We’ve laughed, cried, hugged, stressed, celebrated… & survived the🔥HOTTEST SUMMER EVER in the kitchen! 🥵😂 Hospitality takes everything you have..long days, tired feet, early starts, late finishes, endless lists, constant problem solving…and a LOT of coffee!☕
But seeing you all enjoy yourselves, celebrating and loving what Vessy has created, with help from her incredible team, makes it all worthwhile. Because Cafe No 142 has never just been about serving food & drink, It’s about making memories❤️
