🌅 Wow, what a weekend! 🌅

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The Thatch Restaurant during this year’s First Light Festival. It was another fantastic weekend, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying the celebrations with us.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all of our staff, who worked incredibly hard throughout the weekend, and to everyone who helped and supported us along the way. Your dedication, teamwork, and commitment made it all possible, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you all for being part of such a special weekend. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year! 🎉✨

We certainly are!

Here at The Thatch Restaurant, we’ll be bringing back all your festival favourites with our outdoor bar, BBQ, and music tent, featuring some incredibly talented local singers and musicians throughout the weekend. 🎶🍔🍻

Keep an eye on our page for more updates on who’ll be joining us this year….. who knows… there may even be the man in the bin making a return appearance! 🗑️😆

Important update from The Thatch Restaurant ☕️

Due to ongoing cost pressures and the recent April wage increase, we’ve had to make some operational changes…

From today, all outside tables will now be cleared exclusively by our new team of highly trained seagulls 🕊️

To help the process run smoothly, we kindly ask that customers:
• Leave all plates, food, and leftovers on the table
• Do not attempt to “assist” the seagulls
• Avoid eye contact during service

Our seagull team are fast, efficient, and extremely motivated.

We believe this is a sustainable and natural solution moving forward.
