Sunday roast booking hacks, which you can thank us for when you’re devouring unlimited Yorkie puds 👀

Pre-book: we always recommend pre-booking a table. While we do accept walk-ins, we’d absolutely hate to turn you away if we’re full.

Book by Wednesday or Thursday: if you know you’re planning a Sunday roast, you’ll have a much better chance of getting the time you want, if you book on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Keep an eye out for cancellations: if you’ve left it a little too late, check our website on the day and you may find a rare cancellation. We’ll also try to share these on our social stories too.

Allow extra time : Long Eaton is a bit of a maze at the moment with the high street regeneration. This is causing more traffic and parking can be extremely limited, so give yourself plenty of time.

And our best tip? Book your next table before you leave 😉

Now October’s here, we thought it was only right to get you into the festive spirit.

Celebrate Christmas at The Butchers this year. It’s the perfect excuse to get together with your favourite people. Think cosy catch-up’s, family celebrations or night out with friends.

¡Hola! We have a NEW DATE for our Spanish Fiesta - Supper Club 🇪🇸

On Thursday 22nd October at 7pm, we’re bringing the flavours of Spain to Long Eaton for one night only.

Your evening will begin with a welcome glass of homemade sangria, before you’re treated to a selection of Spanish-inspired tapas dishes.

And of course, no Spanish fiesta is complete without something sweet to finish - our homemade burnt Basque cheesecake.

£40 per person:
✨ Welcome glass of sangria (non-alcoholic version available)

🚨CUSTOMER NOTICE🚨

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, we're having to postpone tomorrow's Spanish Supper Club. This will now take place on Thursday 22nd October.

For those of you who have already booked and paid your deposit, we'll be in touch today to either refund you, or move you to the new date.

We're so incredibly sorry to do this at such short notice, but it's out of our control.

It’s National Hospitality Day 👩🏻‍🍳

I won’t lie, I haven’t had this post signed off 👀 but as the Marketing Manager across The Butchers at Westgate, Cleaver Cafe & Bar and The Westgate Suites, I get to see everything from the outside looking in.

I’ve seen the long days, the early mornings, the late finishes, the pressure, the teamwork, and just how much goes into making sure every guest has a great experience. This team works their backsides off, and I’m so proud to work alongside them.

A special shoutout has to go to our owners, Chloe & Jay. Keeping four hospitality businesses going isn’t easy (these three and one elsewhere), but they somehow manage to support the team, keep everything a float, and still manage to laugh at my terrible jokes. (I managed to sneak Jay into this reel. Chloe is still successfully avoiding the camera 😂)

So, the next time you’re dining out, at any restaurant, just remember there’s a whole team of humans behind your meal, working incredibly hard to make your visit a good one.
