New added menu
Sorry for the delay to add new items to my menu but here you are!
I plan to add about 8 to 10 dishes to our menu but have to put on gradually to make sure I can cope with cooking them and please strictly order before noon of the day.
I published this article without any proof from my wife or my daughter so please excuse my Thinglish.
Many of these are my own family recipes:
S1 Chicken wings in red wine sauce [£5.50] This is a starter.
Please note:
Number 39 in the old menu has changed to Pad See Eiew
New dishes:
N1 Geang-Paa (Jungle curry)
Coconut milk is one of the ingredient that used to be luxury and not widely available before the pasteurised coconut milk in can arrived. Coconut milk also won’t stay for long in Thailand hot weather. So most of villagers who live far from the market can’t use coconut milk in their cooking unless they have their own coconut tree in their backyard. Hence named Jungle Curry.
In my view the Jungle curry best with chicken but we also have beef and pork for you to try. [Chicken £10.50]
[pork £10.50]
[Beef £11.50]
N2 Pad Pong Garee (Creamy stir-fried yellow curry with celery, spring onion and vermicelli noodles)
[Prawns £13]
[Squid £13]
[Prawns and squid £13]
N3 Pad Namprigpow (Stir-fried sweet Tamarind chilli oil with bell pepper and onions)
[Chicken £10.50]
[Prawns £12.50]
[Squid £12.50]
N4 Pad Ha Smoon-prai
(My mother 5 herbs stir-fried) Galangal, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, chillies and garlic pound into a paste and stir-with chicken [£11]
N5 My Grandma Salad (Yam Khun Yai) Shredded lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, spring onion, coriander, red onions and toasted desiccated coconut mix in with pork and prawns, coconut milk and sweet tamarind chilli oil. [£13]
We can do some of above dishes in vegetarian version, please ask.
