She’s went AWOL but not for long …. 😂
But she’s back she just needed her lunch but don’t we think she chose well …. We aren’t getting the funds back obviously but thought it’s was a a great way to show you what we offer for lunch 😂

What’s happened recently ….

🩵You are crazy for our Cinni buns ! They flew out !
🩵Our young Barista is upping the latte art skills and has tried a swan… 👌🏼
🩵Cookie dipping pots sold out quickly but will be back this weekend along with our iced biscuits
🩵we had a visit to Carol Bean for latte art showdown , and the boss felt lucky to be able to include the family is supports for this visit .
🩵the craft-a-noons are a big hit - Remember every Wednesday in the school holidays 2-4pm just drop In :)
🩵we were gifted a wonderful handmade Lino print of our shop by a young artist close family to our head barista Jack … some of these prints will be available soon .
🩵the front of the shop is quieter these days as you all really are enjoying our space outside in the garden 🌞🌱 we are so lucky to have this area.
🩵 we now have lots of ice creams available from the local icecream maker Your Cool - Artisan Ice Cream Made in Northamptonshire ❄️ if you want to add a scoop to your brownies you just have to say :)
🩵Coolers for the kids too ! You love them 👌🏼
🩵renaming the Cortado KING Cortado as it’s climbing the ladder for being a popular choice !
🩵 working from home with kids is tough so you are taking advantage of our takeout toasties / sandwiches etc … we miss you so this brief encounter for temporary measures is amazing so we still get to see those regular faces no matter your commitments .

In case you want a little reading inspiration… here’s what your baristas /team are currently reading …

Allanah reads - Bob Mortimer - The long shoe
She read the others of Bobs books and if you like his quirky comedy then this is a chuckle read .

Jack reads - - she’s always Hungry , Jack has read others from this author and really loved her book called boy parts which he always recommends . This is a selection of short stories and is a horror fiction .

Phoebe reads - Sally Rooney - normal people , this book has won some awards already and is a popular one most will have read we may even have a copy of this one in the shop swap .

the_long_bookby_club have their monthly meet this Wednesday and have read - the correspondent by Virginia Evans . If you want to know more Information regarding this local relaxed and inclusive book club please pop in and ask us :)

Oh and We can’t forget … Harley
Harley loves dinos and as he’s not a reader (at all) we got him his own book ….. “I love my dinosaur”

And lastly …
As you walk into the shop you will see we have a book swap set up … these are free to take , you don’t need a book with you to swap there and then but trust a book in return over time :) please pop by and check out our current selection …
