Hagen Termini Padddington, where our machine became architecture.

Inspired by the iconic Victoria Arduino wall machine of 1922, we reimagined espresso service through a custom Modbar integration, allowing the space itself to take centre stage.

Grand Victorian homes. Leafy garden squares. And, the Danish Embassy designed by Arne Jacobsen and just a stone’s throw away from Hagen Knightsbridge. A tribute to Room 606 designed by the same Danish architect.

Hagen Middenweg.

Set beside Frankendael Park, this bar brings together considered design, quality coffee and the slower rhythms of the Danish kaffe experience.

Home to our Guest Baker Series, the space has become part of the neighbourhood’s daily rhythm.

A community we’re proud to be part of.

Meet our Summer Cold Brew.

A seasonal release sourced from the high-altitude hills of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia.

These heirloom beans are grown by Biniyam Aklilu and a community of small farmers in Gerse Kebele — hand-picked, sun-dried, and carefully sorted for a cup that’s bright with sweet tasting notes of strawberry and peach.

Available in all bars.

In Denmark, coffee comes with butter cookies. In Italy, espresso with biscotti.

We think it’s a tradition worth adopting.

Meet the butter cookies — the best in the world (another bold statement from yours truly). Small-batch, Scandinavian-made, nearly impossible to find outside Denmark.

We’re one of the few places in the world that carry them.

Featured in June’s issue of Monocle.

Honoured to be named one of the world’s best coffee shops — amongst a group of beautifully considered, design‑driven brands such as in Paris, in Tokyo, in Melbourne, and in Beirut.

Monocle has always seen cities, coffee and culture through a lens we respect, so this feature carries real meaning,
The piece is now live online and in print.

Thank you to everyone who makes Hagen what it is.

We loved May.

Hagen Paddington opened its doors. Jesper and his cinnamon rolls at Hagen Middenweg, Amsterdam. POMA joined us at Hagen Paddington, London — and we had a great conversation with Rasmus that we didn’t want to end.

And through all of it — great coffee, as always.
More to come in June.

As part of Hagen’s guest baker series, we welcomed from Sommer Canteen, Copenhagen to our Middenweg Espresso bar in Amsterdam.

Cinnamon buns beautifully prepared, a taste of Copenhagen on a sunny Saturday in May.

Tak Jesper, the series continues with our next baker soon.

Hagen Termini Paddington is our new concept bar — one built around the idea that even the most transient spaces deserve real design and great coffee.

The design inspiration draws from two mid-century references.
The first: Victoria Arduino’s 1922 mural machine. Mechanics hidden behind the wall, only the group heads visible, flush in marble. A machine that became architecture.

The second:Room 606. Arne Jacobsen’s frozen-in-time suite at the SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, 1960 — the room that proved a travel space could be designed with total intention.

Hagen Termini Paddington lives somewhere between the two. A place that feels considered in a city that rarely stops.

This is . Sebastian is our Director of Quality & Brand Experience.

Previously Sebastian co-founded Prolog Coffee in Copenhagen and has been a key part of our Danish collaborations over the years. Sebastian helped develop our Drip Bags/Home Brew almost 5 years ago and many other innovative coffee experiences such as our Ribs (Red Currant) coffee.

Our partnership has shaped our journey and it’s only natural that Sebastian is helping share our love for Danish quality and storytelling with the world now.
