We’re incredibly proud to share that Laura Metcalfe, Pact Coffee Trainer, finished second in the Specialty Coffee Association UK Barista Championship.

The UK Barista Championship is one of speciality coffee’s most demanding competitions. More than 50 of the country’s most talented baristas enter each year, and only six reach the final. Finishing second is an outstanding achievement.

Throughout her routine, Laura spoke about the work behind the coffee she served – Finca Nogales Pink Bourbon – recognising growers Oscar Hernandez and Angie Hernández Arango , along with our coffee team.

This result reflects months of practice and dedication. Congratulations, Laura – we couldn’t be more proud to have you represent Pact.

We’ve had a great time serving the public iced coffee, and the warm weather looks like it’s here for a while…

So we’re pleased to announce an extra date on the Pact x summer tour.

We’ll be on Lower George Street, in Richmond, from 08:00-14:00 this Thursday (16th July).
