close your minds eye
you’re a 6ft australian guy
living in london
your name is Kip
and you’re a sick bartender
let that seep in, marinate, infuse in your brain
people like you know that only a 5.5% IPA quenches your insatiable thirst
that’s why you’re drinking
Burst, the intellectual choice.

pouring now on tap 8.
see you at the bar

Coupla’ moments.
It’s all pretty epic in London at the moment isn’t it?
I’ve been using epic a lot lately. Good word. Well rounded. It feels American?
Does that make sense?
In any case, I think you’re pretty epic.
And tomorrow I’m going to share some pretty epic details about the Warpigs tap take over happening on Thursday evening.

Keep your finger on the pulse, I can already hear your heart beating

Tuesday mumbles.
How to write an instagram caption for a pub.
Very lovely pair who visited our pub the other day.
When I’m doing these captions, I try to tell myself not to take it to seriously. Not to worry. That what I am doing is simply being an honest messenger.
I tell myself...
What I’m trying to achieve is “access”.
Access to understanding.
Understanding what this pub feels and looks like.
If you can at a glance at this photo, or the one before it.
If you scan one of our event tiles, or flick through a carousel.
And you go
“That pub looks rather nice”
or
“Oh I remember that night, we should go back”
or
“Loads of cool people work there and all the customers look really sick and the b**rs look unique and yummy and interesting therefore I’ve just now decided I’m going to go there every week for the rest of my life”
Then, I’ve done my job.
Whatever that job is.
Letters and words I guess.

See you on Hackney Road
