Parkgate Road goes fully pedestrianised next weekend and we’re taking over 🎆

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November, we’re throwing a proper street party outside District Battersea Park. Our outdoor bar will be pouring mulled w**e, Lost And Grounded Brewers b**r and Black Lines cocktails, with hot dogs on the grill.

Wrap up warm, swing by for a drink and good company, then wander into the park for the fireworks. We’re right on your way in.

And when the show’s over, the bar’s still open. Come back for another round and keep the celebrations going with us. The night is young ✨

Something’s waiting on the tables this morning that isn’t on the brunch menu. We’ve teamed up with author Leodora Darlington ( Leodora | Writer 📚 ) to give away her new book - The Exes - exactly fifty copies between District Battersea Park and District Nine Elms.

Leodora has quickly established herself as one of the UK’s most exciting literary voices. She was recently shortlisted for the McDermid Debut Award 2026 and The Exes was selected as a Good Morning America Book Club pick. The book follows Natalie, who meticulously chose her new husband, James, believing he’s the perfect man, while desperately hoping he won’t wind up dead like her three previous ex-boyfriends.
