We use good quality name brands like Heinz ketchup, and our bacon and sausages are from the East London Sausage Co, so they are meaty and tasty, and the animals have good lives too. We cater for everyone in our community, from roofers and builders at 6am to office workers to Mums and toddlers. Our home cooked specials and baked goods change daily, so let us know your favourites.

It's been one of those crazy hectic weeks and we are KNACKERED. So here's an amusing little surprise one of our tiny customers left us - genuinely one of my favourite aspects of running the café 🤭

This afternoon will be open to Italian, Spanish, and English speakers and learners. Don't be shy about your abilities in your target language! Everyone is coming just to practice and have fun. The best way to learn is through conversation, after all!

All good conversation needs a cuppa, so £5 admission includes a drink and a toastie or slice of cake 🍰☕️

We spent ours in the throes of cooking up some delicious food and chopping tons of cheese for an event 👩🏾‍🍳

As always, when we're in the thick of it, I can never get any decent content! (Most business owners can relate, I'm sure 🫠) but I did manage to get a few half decent photos here and there to prove to you guys that we do indeed actually do catering 😅😅

I've never been a big coffee drinker, therefore we decided to make the café a haven for others who aren't coffee enthusiasts.

Although our drinks menu offers plenty of unique and unusual teas, it also offers barley cup: a coffee substitute that's very beloved in Italy, and how I would often start the day as a child.

Barley cup, as the name suggests, is a cereal drink made from barley, rye, and chicory (and is even a source of fibre!). No caffeine, no jitters, no dehydration or irritation and yet you can enjoy it just like you would your morning coffee! With or without milk and sugar, alongside your breakfast, sweet treat, or just on its own 😌

I personally love its earthy aroma and the light, creamy layer of foam that forms as soon as it's made. I'm biased of course but i would choose it over coffee any day of the week!
