The original Balthazar was opened in New York City by Keith McNally in the spring of 1997. The London edition opened in February 2013 on the corner of Russell Street and Wellington Street in the heart of Covent Garden, just down the road from The Royal Opera House. Housed in the old Theatre Museum, in a building called “The Flower Cellars”, Balthazar will be sharing the space with The London Film

Museum. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, plus weekend brunch. There is a Balthazar bakery housed next door serving its own house-made artisan breads, as well as a wide selection of homemade pastries, salads and sandwiches to take away throughout the day.

CABARET at the Kit Kat Club arrives at Balthazar.
 
For six weeks this autumn, our Covent Garden brasserie will host a takeover inspired by London’s seven-time Olivier Award-winning production, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.
 
Featuring unforgettable live performances by the Prologue cast of Cabaret, created exclusively for Balthazar, alongside a specially curated cocktail collection and bespoke pre-theatre menu. This is an experience unlike anything we’ve hosted before.
 
The countdown is on. Join us from 18th September to 31st October.
