ROSH HASHANAH HAMPERS ARE HERE 🍎🍎🍎🍎

Rosh Hashanah is a time for gathering, for sharing, and for wishing the people we love a sweet year ahead.

So we’ve put together a hamper filled with some of our favourite things: our honey cake, apricot and almond marunchinos, fragrant mountain herb honey, a honey dipper, dark chocolate and a pair of dinner candles.

A little box of sweetness to send to someone special, wherever they may be, or to bring home and share around your own table.

Available to order now from our website.

Robert Elms! Thank you to Robert Elms Show for having us on BBC London this morning to talk about our new book Honey & Co. Daily Store Street, based on the recipes we serve at our deli on Store Street of the same name! We cycled over to the BBC from the restaurant and had a lovely chat. This is our most accessible book yet and the first book where we have really thought about having the meal on the table in less than 30 minutes. There’s something easy, joyful and delicious for everyone to have a go at, whether that’s eggs, sandwiches, cakes or desserts…even if you’re not usually the baker in the family 😉

Thank you for such a warm welcome and to all those listening in!

A huge thank you to GillySmith for inviting us down to Brighton to record Cooking The Books Live
in celebration of our new book, Honey & Co. Daily!

We chatted about significant food moments in our lives, about how we like to eat now, and there was a lot of talk about eggs (we were even gifted a box of freshly laid eggs), our favourite kitchen implements, and more. We enjoyed food cooked from the book by Sussex Surplus and signed copies of the book, with huge thanks to cookbookbake1 for being the bookseller!

We also had a lovely wander around Brighton and enjoyed ice cream from .icecream ( ice cream is always a good idea…) then home to eggs for a late night snack, practicing what we preach, that eggs are the only dish that take longer to eat than cook!

Thank you Gilly for setting this up. Listen out for the recording on the podcast. Our next stop is Rutland Nursery on Thursday, before we take a pause for the summer!

What a week.

The book tour rolled on with a glorious trip to Thyme for our OX Barn takeover. What a ridiculously special place. Leaving to come back to a very hot London was, frankly, quite difficult.

Then it was straight onto another train, this time to York, to spend the evening at Toppings. We cooked a few recipes from the book, ate some good food, and met lots of lovely people. Thank you to everyone who came along.

And to finish the week, a new pineapple plant joined the family. Pineapple menu testing to commence… though we may be waiting a while

A gorgeous evening in York, at the new bookshop for a demo, talk and signing of our book Honey & Co.Daily. We had the best time! We demonstrated our Kalamata olive cocktail, grape & bean salad with manouri and olive oil chocolate mousse, chatted a lot and signed loads of books. It was such a pleasure for us to visit the new bookshop and thank you to all who came out to see us, what a crowd, we loved meeting you all. And topped off with the best sunset. feeling so grateful that we get to do this.

Next stops, Daunt Books Marylebone on Monday, Gilly Smith Brighton on Tuesday and Rutland Nursery on Thursday!

On the hottest day of the year so far, we headed to Dorset for a beautiful cookbook event with The Kitchen Table at Sorelle | Natalie & Matilda, just outside Shaftesbury. We moved the event out of the tent and into the garden, perfect in the early evening heat!

The team served Olive & Gin Martinis and Avocado, Radish & Dukkah Crostini on arrival, and we gave a recipe demonstration from the book, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Thank you to all who joined us for such a special evening, asked amazing questions and laughed at our jokes… what a gorgeous venue!

And thank you to sisters Matilda and Natalie for welcoming us into your space, and to Sarah and John for inviting us to Dorset, setting up this beautiful event, getting us from A to B and keeping us cool. If you’re heading to Dorset, make a stop The Kitchen Table and Sorelle | Natalie & Matilda ###

What a glorious week to head to the south west! We were so lucky to get out of boiling London and head down to Riverford Field Kitchen in Devon. It’s been a few years since we were last at Riverford and it was so wonderful to be back. Together with the amazing Field Kitchen team we cooked a gorgeous menu from our new book, Honey & Co. Daily, of course all prepared with beautiful Riverford produce.

On the menu:

Fresh sourdough bread
Labaneh & dukkah
Roasted aubergine, walnut & yogurt salad
Melon, cucumber & chilli
Chicken traybake with broad beans & spring onions
Crispy potatoes & marinated tomato salad
Elderflower cream w. macerated strawberries

And of course no visit to the field kitchen is complete without a visit to Penny’s poly tunnels, just avoiding the midday sun when it was apparently 40+ under cover!

Thank you to all who joined us at Riverford Field Kitchen, and to the team there too for putting on a fabulous evening for us all.
