We have also have The Kennington Book Exchange, where our customers can take or borrow a book and in return leave one in its place. We've had a very positive response to the book exchange and it's a great way to recycle books. If we end up with too many, we'll be sending any excess to the local charity book shop. If you've got a birthday or special occasion coming up, it's easy & FREE to reserve a space for up to SIX people for a get together with your friends! In essence we are trying to offer a comfortable and relaxing environment for our local community and businesses, offering quality food & drink and good old fashioned hospitality, served with a smile! We are family friendly - we love to see the kids turn up with Mum & Dad & we have a few colouring books to keep them occupied too - they're all very welcome! We ask that the kids try to leave around 7pm, cos we feel that The Kennington turns into a more adult space after that & us adults can't always be trusted to be on our best behaviour!.
