We supply our small flagship café on Hackney’s Broadway Market and Old Spitalfields Market and our own stall on market day, as well as a growing list of establishments who have chosen to work with us. Some of us are on three espressos before lunch. Some of us switch to our Decaf after 2pm... We love caffeine for the kick (it's half the reason we get out of bed), but everyone's limit is different. Knowing how much is actually in your cup helps, and it's a lot less straightforward than it sounds.

When a dry 2025 season tightened harvests across Brazil, our friend Bruno helped us rethink where The Baron comes from. He now curates coffees from producers he knows and trusts across Minas Gerais. For them, the harvest isn't the finish line. You are.

This Wednesday at our upcoming Cupping Club, our Commercial Director Danny reports back from Brazil, we'll look at the trade-offs behind how we buy coffee, and will cup a range of coffees through the lens of the people who grow them.

Sourced from Crecert, a women-led co-op in La Plata, Huila, Colombia, the decaf process happens right there at origin — local sugar cane, turned into Ethyl Acetate, used to gently remove the caffeine.

Did you know 1 in 5 coffee drinkers now choose decaf? Since we give a sh*t about coffee, this is ours! And it tastes great, with notes of dark chocolate, caramel and orange rind. Have you tried it yet?

Ever wondered what's actually in your oat flat white?

We followed from a Wiltshire field to the cup. Met Josh at Manor Farm, three generations deep in the land, growing winter oats with roots strong enough to shrug off drought, and talked to the MOMA team about the quiet science of turning a grain into something that steams and pours like milk.

We found a story about what local really means when you trace it properly — oats grown within 60 miles of the mill, soil built up season by season, a supply chain you can actually stand behind.
