Common Ground is a relaxed cafe/eatery in Stroud Green near Finsbury Park. We serve fresh, brunch-style food, specialty coffee, cocktails and juices in a vibrant and creative space. We also have a unique back terrace which changes seasonally. Currently there are winter domes and cabins available for brunch bookings (minimum party size of 4 for exclusive use), click ‘book now’ & make a request in the message box- we’ll do our best to accomodate

No vouchers, no forms and no awkward proof required. Just let your server know there’s a father in the group and we’ll take care of one coffee on us.

We’re proud to support the campaign.

Hospitality businesses, including ours, across the UK are facing rising costs, while paying a VAT rate that is among the highest in Europe.

A reduction in hospitality VAT from 20% to 10% would help make cafes like ours, and other hospitality businesses , invest, employ more people, keep prices more affordable and continue serving their communities.

Common Ground, in common with other independents, is about much more than food and drink. It’s about jobs, high streets, local suppliers and the places where people come together.
