Alice: I’ve been coming to Bistrotheque since it first opened. It was a regular spot that I’d frequent with my parents for Sunday lunch. I fell in love with it quickly - the ambience, the food, the laid-back elegance - and celebrated my 21st in the private dining room with friends. Fast forward almost two decades and I’m still celebrating milestones with Bistrotheque. I’ve been to numerous weddings downstairs and just a couple of months ago Bistrotheque catered my brother’s 40th. A night that will go down in history!
Kay: Bistrotheque is my home away from home. Although the food is far superior at Bistrotheque than it is in my kitchen. I’ve been coming for so long, and so regularly, that I think I see the brilliant team at Bistrotheque more than I see many of my friends and family, luckily (not that they really had a choice), over the years they have become friends too. It’s a very special restaurant, that has featured in many special times in my life, from great dates, reunions, weddings, or just a for-no-reason decadent Sunday lunch. It’s my happy place, and it’s always full of the best people having the best time.
Kay: It was only a little over 3 months ago that I messaged Alice and said we should launch a podcast. An Excellent Fit was born that week. Now 5 episodes in, with another 5 to launch, and series 2 in planning, it was time to raise several margaritas over dinner, congratulate ourselves, and have a good old gossip. Though I would find any excuse to enjoy Bistrotheque’s parmesan cheese draws. Naughty but oh so good. Which is actually how I would describe most of my nights there.
Alice: As two fashion birds who love a chic chicken and chips washed down with the perfect margarita, there was nowhere we’d rather celebrate going into business together. Just a few months ago we decided to launch An Excellent Fit, podcast and content channel, and 5 episodes in, it felt like we had much reason to celebrate.
