What a night at the Summerfield! ❤️🏴

The atmosphere for England’s win over Norway was everything football should be. Friends, families and complete strangers celebrating together, singing every song, cheering every goal and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the highlights had to be the whole pub singing Wonderwall together with the England team after the final whistle. We might not have been in the dressing room, but we were certainly there in spirit! ❤️🎶

Moments like these remind you that football is so much more than just a game. It brings people together, no matter their background, and we’re proud that the Summerfield has become a place where those memories are made.

Now we go again!

Let’s make it even louder. Come early, wear your England colours, bring your voices and let’s get behind the boys together.

We genuinely sat there wondering whether it was worth opening until 1am…

Then we looked around the room.

Just look at this and watch it to the end ❤️🏴

People who support different football clubs. People with different political views. People from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life. For one night, none of that mattered.

For 90 minutes, everyone was simply England.

The singing, the laughter, the hugs with complete strangers, the nerves and the celebrations… it’s a reminder of what football can do at its very best. It brings people together.

If you could bottle that feeling of happiness, unity and togetherness, it would be one of the greatest things on earth.

Moments like these are exactly why we love what we do at The Summerfield. Thank you to every single person who chose to spend your night with us and helped create an atmosphere we’ll never forget.

Here’s to making even more memories together.

WHAT. A. NIGHT! 🏆⚽️

The atmosphere at The Summerfield for England’s incredible win was simply unbelievable! The singing, the celebrations and the support from everyone made it a night to remember. ❤️🤍

It only felt right to finish the evening with the iconic Champions opera song, performed by the incredibly talented James Dyer. What a moment! 🎤🙌

I’m just walking round the pub this morning feeling very grateful to be hitting my 10 year milestone here. Im Joe the owner of The Summerfield and want to thank everyone for your continued support.

This pub has always been on my life as my Dad has been a regular for as long as I can remember. I took over July 2016 and it’s been a fun ride. It’s a pleasure to have been able to serve the community for 10 years and Here’s to another 10 🥂
