So SIMMER has arrived! You can buy a SOUP-er book for all your family, friends, cooks and Christmas pals… Mr. S is very excited as it is his first official book 😊

Our new cook book is coming out on the 22nd October officially... but you can order it now via the lovely bookshop.org (see below). We are hoping to have copies to buy at Review up the road and of course in out own shop, Persepolis. Hope you enjoy the most SOUPER SIMMER time ever!

We've researched and cooked some amazing Simmer Soups for you to play with... and then there are a few stranger/historic-but-no-longer-cooked dishes. There are three of them on-line just here:

So when you’re researching food stuff and you come across some items that are, well, different. Not the sort of things that you’d cook, or serve, or eat yourself. These items are fascinating. And we have always felt that we should play around with them a bit, prepare them, try them out… So her...

There’s nothing like Peckham in August. We are of course a tad biased…

SIMMER! Our (and we do mean ‘our’ as Mr Shopkeeper co-wrote the new book!) soup book has arrived! Simmer is actually out in October, but we’re very chuffed to have a copy of both the Interlink and the Harper Collins to play with now… 🥳

We do like to celebrate our various colleagues. Persepolis has been/is right in between the Camberwell College of Arts and the Goldsmith University and we’ve acquired all sorts of waiting persons over the years. For example… meet Laura. Laura is amazing at sketching and painting: we reckon she’ll be very famous one day… 🙂 (btw, the middle one was Escher , not Laura… yet)

Hey guys! We're walking around a wee bit more. Another 25km, so raise money for the Stroke Association. On August 22nd. Our amazing team will be marching with us. But it will be even better if one or two of you out there add a little dosh to our Just Giving fund.... Wish us luck!
