Jennifer Cooper has been Wyrd & Wonderful for many years. She's been a crafter for longer, having been taught crochet by her brother because her mum was a South Paw.

All her creations are handmade with love and can be handwashed with care.

The Skull Shawl can be purchased for £120 - available to view and arrange purchase via the Café

Jen will take orders but the customer must be willing to wait a few weeks, because handmade work is labour-intensive and time consuming.

Available in many colours.

On the other hand, we all know handmade is best !

Nettle Soup - nettles foraged by my fair (stinging - despite wearing gloves!) hand in Burgess Park and spelt bread baked at the cafe.

In May 1926, 2 million workers joined the General Strike, in a massive display of solidarity with miners locked out by mine-owners for refusing to accept wage cuts.
Nine days later, afraid of losing control of the situation, the TUC General Council called the Strike off.
"Nine Days in May" recounts the events of the General Strike in the Metropolitan Boroughs of Bermondsey, Camberwell and Southwark (now united into the London Borough of Southwark)
