The Sun Tavern is an East London institution, founded in 1851 on Bethnal Green Road and reborn through renovation and restoration in 2014. A neighbourhood bar that honors its roots, The Sun Tavern offers classically inspired cocktails, London’s largest selection of Irish Whiskey, the world’s largest collection of Poitín, local fine ales, live music, resident DJs, bar snacks and friendly service at the bar and tableside.

We’ll have an exclusive cocktail menu using Bushmills 10 yearr Irish Wh***ey and to add to the celebrations we’ll have Live music from 8pm.

The Heart Cut is an independent bottler collaborating with wh**ky distilleries from across the world to release one-off single cask and small batch bottlings.

Barley celebrates the rise of English wh**ky - an English blended malt bringing together single malts from five leading distilleries. Rich and vibrant, abundant with notes of summer fruits and thick vanilla cream.

We're having another Samhain celebration! Samhain, pronounced “sow-in,” is an ancient Celtic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.

Samhain represents a liminal time when the boundaries between the living and the dead were believed to be blurred.

People would light bonfires, wear costumes to disguise themselves from malevolent entities, and offer food and gifts to the otherworldly beings. As the centuries passed, Samhain evolved into the modern-day Halloween.”

On the 1st of November we’ll host a celebration with Bushmills Irish Wh***ey
We’ll have an exclusive cocktail menu using Bushmills 10 year old Irish Wh***ey and to add to the celebrations we’ll have Live music from 8pm.

Benromach is a traditional distillery owned by a family of wh**ky-lovers intent on reviving the lost flavour of Speyside whiskies from the days before commercial maltings. Benromach keep things simple: a handful of distillers relying entirely on their expertise and senses to make the finest handmade wh**ky.
