The gardens at Chiswick are turning. Copper leaves overhead and the long grasses gone gold by the café.

Inside, the menu has changed with them. Falafel bowls, hash brown bagels, a poached egg breaking over the mushroom bowl, and plenty to share across one table.

The new season’s menu is now available at Chiswick House and Gardens.

Take the long way round the gardens first. 🍂

The first signs are already here at the Horniman.

Lower light over the bandstand. Leaves turning by the conservatory. Jackets back on for the walk up past the clock tower.

In the kitchen, the new menu has been taking shape. Red cabbage shredded by hand, something on the flame, bowls built one spoonful at a time.

Our Autumn / Winter menu is now serving at the Horniman. Made for autumn adventures and long lunches. 🍂

Three things worth knowing about this week, each a short walk from one of our cafés.

**Horniman Museum & Gardens**

The Day of the Dead Family Festival, Saturday 31 October, 11am to 4pm. A day celebrating the Mexican Día de los Mu***os, for the whole family. Booking recommended.

**Chiswick House & Gardens**

Gardening Together, Wednesday 28 October, 1.30 to 3.30pm. A free afternoon helping the gardens team look after the grounds and woodland, open to families with children over 7. Register in advance. For younger artists, Cygnets Art School is running Halloween workshops in the Learning Hub from 27 to 29 October.

**Hyde Park**

Discovery Days: Hair Raising Halloween at the Hyde Park Learning Centre, 27 to 29 October, 11am to 3.30pm. Free drop-in nature trails, bats, feely boxes and storytelling at 12, 1 and 2pm. Fancy dress encouraged.

We’ll be there all week. Lunch in the gardens at the Horniman Café. Our new autumn/winter menu arrives at Chiswick House Café on 29 October. And coffee for the walk at our kiosks across Hyde Park.

A new season, and a whole lot of reasons to stop by. 🍂

Autumn has arrived in our London park cafés - bringing with it bold earthy flavours, comforting favourites and a fresh line-up of dishes worth layering up for.

Colourful mezze bowls, towering sandwiches, warming spices and seriously good burgers. 🌱And, of course, something delicious to sip alongside. ☕️
