Introducing the Brown Butter Old Fashioned…

Bourbon wh***ey washed in beurre noisette, with maple syrup and orange bitters.

We fat-wash our wh***ey in-house, as per Chef Steve’s instructions. Most of the beurre noisette solidifies at the top and we filter the rest, leaving a silky wh***ey with a rounded mouthfeel and warm toffee notes. (Werther’s Originals)

Founded in 1760, Lanson has been perfecting its elegant style for over 260 years. They’re also the official Ch*****ne partner of Wimbledon Tennis – a fitting nod to our very first brasserie in Wimbledon.

The petit chefs have spoken: kids eat free this half term! 🎉
 
After taking over the brasserie, these two tucked into Petit Steak Frites, followed by fresh French Madeleines dipped in warm chocolate sauce. A pretty tasty perk of being in charge.
 
*Kids Eat Free is available 23–30 October, Monday to Friday, with a free kids’ menu for every paying adult.

There’s something about sitting outside a brasserie, facing the street, coffee in hand, and watching the world go by.

In France, if you’re in a rush, you’ll often drink an espresso standing at the bar. If you’re not, you’ll treat the brasserie as a third place between home and work. You’ll take your time, read a paper, have a moment to yourself.
