The Wanstead B**r Festival is popping up all over Wanstead, thanks to Martin & Co, who have been helping us spread the word by putting the festival on their estate agent boards around the area.

You might have already spotted a few on your travels, and with just ONE WEEK TO GO, Wanstead is definitely getting ready!

A big thank you to Martin & Co for supporting the festival and helping make sure the whole neighbourhood knows what’s coming.

Just over a week to go until Wanstead B**r Festival!

And while there’ll be plenty of b**r flowing, we haven’t forgotten the c***r drinkers. We’ve got a great selection lined up for this year’s festival, with c***rs from:

Ascension C***r
Cockeyed C***r
Farmer Jim’s
Crafty Blends

And that’s just a taste of what’ll be pouring on the day, with plenty more c***rs to discover alongside our huge b**r selection.

So, whether you’re firmly Team C***r or just fancy trying something different between pints, there should be plenty to keep you happy.

Meet Wanstead Heron, our very own festival b**r!

Brewed specially for Wanstead B**r Festival by Sambrook Brewery, Wanstead Heron is a 6.3% braggot, a b**r brewed using both malted barley and honey.

Never tried a braggot before? This is your chance. And even better, Wanstead Heron will be half price at The George this Monday, so you can get an early taste before the festival.

Then you can find it again at Wanstead B**r Festival on Saturday 10th October, alongside more than 50 b**rs and c***rs.

A small rebellion is brewing in Wanstead…

We’ve got two red ales joining the line-up this year: Peasants Revolt from Elephant School Brewing Co, a 4.6% New World hopped red ale, and Tomahawk from Sambrook’s Brewery, an American red ale at 4.5%.

Two very different reds, both well worth a try. Which one are you backing?

An award-winning pint is heading to Wanstead!

East London Brewing Co.’s East End Premium Pilsner is crisp, refreshing and full of flavour, with delicate malt character, gentle bitterness and a satisfyingly dry finish.

At 4.5% ABV, it’s unfiltered, vegan and gluten-free. And it’s got the credentials to back it up, picking up Gold at the London B**r Competition 2026.

The wildlife has arrived at Wanstead B**r Festival… although thankfully it’s all behind the bar. 🦅🍻🍺

There’s a bit of an animal theme running through this year’s b**r list, with the stout Walrus of Love, and American IPAs Falcon Punch and Cowcatcher all making an appearance.

No binoculars, walking boots or David Attenborough commentary required. Just turn up, grab a glass and see what takes your fancy.

And these three are only part of what we’ve got lined up for the day. There’ll be plenty more b**rs to discover, good company and a full day of festival atmosphere at Christchurch Halls.

Three years on and it’s still a victory worth raising a glass to! ⚽️🏆🍺

West Ham fans, this one’s for you. Pride of Prague from Brentwood Brewing Co is a 4.4% pale ale marking three years since that unforgettable night in Prague, when West Ham lifted the Europa Conference trophy.

And what better way to remember it than over a pint?

You’ll be able to try Pride of Prague at Wanstead B**r Festival on Saturday 10th October, alongside a huge selection of b**rs from incredible breweries!

Whether you’re a lifelong Hammer who remembers every minute of that final, or you’re simply coming along in search of a good pint, there’ll be plenty waiting for you at Christchurch Halls.
