Qima Cafe Life Changing Coffee

10/10/2026

The drink we’d put next to a weekend roast.

Bright, citrusy and gently sweet, the Qishr Lemonade cuts through the richness of the plate and keeps everything feeling light.

Especially good with the Hadhramaut Roasted Half Chicken and Slow-Braised Short Rib at Qima Café Covent Garden.

A very good reason to order both.

Three ways to discover qishr.

Feeling fresh? Go for the Qishr Lemonade: qishr, lemon and a little sweetness, bright, juicy and ridiculously easy to drink.

Want something softer? The Qishr Cloud brings espresso, milk and cascara cream together over ice. Creamy, fruity, coffee-forward and just indulgent enough.

And if you’re after something warmer, the Qishr Latte layers espresso and qishr with cardamom and ginger for something aromatic, spiced and deeply comforting.

The olive oil on our manakish comes from a single village in the hills northwest of Ramallah.

It arrives [email protected] , a collective that works directly with Palestinian farmers, bringing single-estate oils to the table and telling the story of the people who make them. Ours is the Dier Abu Mash'al Rumi Cold Pressed, grown and picked by hand by Nader and Zakher Zahran, two brothers who tend their family's groves through the year and press within hours of harvest. One season, one place, one family. Fresh and green, with a soft bitterness and a clean, peppery finish.

There is a familiar logic to it. Direct relationships, one origin, the value kept close to the people who did the work. The same principles that shape everything we pour, here poured over the bread instead.

Freshly baked manakish, finished the way it's meant to be. Covent Garden, weekends only, 10 to 5.

The Sunday roast is a ritual most of Britain knows by heart. A bird in the oven, the table set, the afternoon built around it.

Roasting spiced meat, though, is not only a British idea. In Hadhramaut, the ancient region of eastern Yemen shaped by centuries of spice trade across the Indian Ocean, slow-cooked and heavily spiced meat has anchored the table for just as long. Two traditions, far apart on the map, built around the same instinct. Gather people. Cook something properly. Take your time.

The Qima Hadhramaut Roasted Half Chicken sits where those two traditions meet. Brined in a spice blend from the Hadhramaut region, roasted, and finished with a shiitake velouté and Qima house gravy. Familiar enough to feel like Sunday. Different enough to be worth the trip.

At Covent Garden, weekends only. This is what weekends are for. And for a limited time, book either as a Qima Experience and your next brunch is on us.
