A little break… but we’ll be back before you know it. ☀️🐟

From 9th August to 25th August, we’ll be taking a short summer break to recharge, give the shop and equipment some well-deserved TLC, and come back ready to serve you the fresh fish, golden chips and grilled favourites you know and love.

Thank you for all your incredible support this year. We can’t wait to welcome you back on 25th August.

Little tip from us… 👨‍🍳

When the weather’s hot, pop your batter in the freezer for 15–20 minutes before using it.

That temperature difference helps create an even crispier coating when it hits the fryer.

It’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

People think we’re just fish and chips…

But that’s only half the story.

So next time you visit, look beyond the fryer.

The difference is in the details.

Some places pre-cut their doner and leave it sitting.

We slice ours fresh for every order, so it stays juicy, tender and full of flavour from the first bite to the last.

Once you’ve had freshly sliced doner, there’s no going back.

One of our regular Uber Eats customers was back for around their 10th order… and once again, they chose haddock.

People ask us all the time, “What’s the difference between cod and haddock?”

In our opinion, haddock has a stronger, fishier flavour with a slightly more bitter taste, while cod is milder and a little sweeter.

Neither is right or wrong… it all comes down to your taste.

So… are you Team Cod or Team Haddock? 👇

Most people don’t know this…

Before we can fill a pitta, it has to be toasted first.

It helps the bread open properly without tearing, so we can pack it full of fresh doner, salad and all the good stuff.

It’s the little details that make the biggest difference

With the temperatures rising, one thing we can’t afford to run out of… cold drinks. 🥤☀️

Fresh deliveries mean the fridges stay stocked, the drinks stay ice cold, and you’ve got the perfect refreshment to go with your meal.

Fish and chips in one hand. Cold drink in the other. Summer sorted!

Part 2: Bringing it all together.

Freshly prepared vegetables, mixed with mayo, seasoned with salt, sugar and cracked black pepper, then combined to create our homemade coleslaw.

Creamy, fresh and packed with flavour in every bite.

The perfect partner for our homemade burgers, fish and chips, grilled dishes and pretty much anything else on the menu.

Now you can see why it disappears so quickly.

This Father’s Day, treat Dad to a meal he’ll actually enjoy.
