The Baking Farmer

The Baking Farmer Stuart uses the finest ingredients. He does not use any industrial bakery aids to enhance shelf life, taste or volume. All the cobs are hand-shaped.

No bread maker, no artificial raising agents - just sea salt, water, yeast, carefully sourced flours and hard graft. Bread and cakes are baked daily and stay fresh for days.

A few things being baked today... including these Focaccias...to be fair when we got home from our hike today we were still all trying to dry out after walking in quite some of the wettest conditions for us ever, and so baking was not top of my thoughts,but with some Tyrolean speck and Provolone cheese in the fridge and a jar of Jalapenos in our Larder alongside some of Shipton Mill's amazing Ciabatta flour l, my thoughts turned to baking quickly and with the help of some herbs and rapeseed oil things moved fast and this was created quite quickly indeed...good news is there is plenty left for tomorrow
