Hello,

This is not an easy post and feels very raw as it wasnt that long ago we were sharing the news on closing our original cafe.

Our last day at the macpool activity hub will be Sunday 16th August.

I would like to thank my staff for all their hard work over the years and to our customers who come in to support us day in, day out.

Thank you all for your support and kind words over the last 6 weeks while we come to terms with the news of our notice.

I have decided for now to take a break from catering, to have some time to reflect and decide on what the future holds.

Just a wee minder the cafe will be closed tomorrow (Sunday 9th August).

It's my birthday and Im taking a well earned day off!

I am extremely sorry to announce that the salty_dog_cafe_macpool will be closing within the next 3 months at the MACPool Activity Hub Boards request.

If I had been aware this was on the horizon I would not have closed the cafe on Lochnell Street. Leaving another property empty in Lochgilphead.

I would like to thank all of our regular customers for their support and blethers over the past 3 years.

I will hopefully see you in my next venture, whatever that is...

The cafe will be closed Thursday 2nd July to allow us to send Breagha over the rainbow bridge 🌈 🐾

Breagha isnt just a dog she's part of the family and she played a massive part in the making of The Salty Dog Cafe 🐾

Thank you to everyone for their patience and kindness today while it was very busy under circumstances beyond our control.

Lastly we will be closed on Mondays for the forseeable.
