We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Maddie from Cohens Chemist, who recently took part in the Race for Life 5K in support of everyone affected by cancer.
Maddie chose to dedicate her run to the residents and staff of Hafod Y Parc, recognising the impact that cancer has had on many within our community, whether through personal experiences or the experiences of loved ones.
As a regular visitor to Hafod Y Parc, Maddie has built many valued friendships over the years and wanted to ensure that those affected by cancer were represented on race day. We are incredibly touched by this thoughtful gesture and honoured that she chose to run in support of our community.
On behalf of the Older Persons Department and everyone at Hafod Y Parc, thank you, Maddie, for your kindness, compassion and dedication. Your support means a great deal to us all. 💜🎗️

🎶☕ Residents at Llys y Coed enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea last week, with live entertainment from the Penmaenmawr Brass Band and an inspiring talk from a Llanberis Mountain Rescue volunteer about the charity’s vital work.
Thanks to Hayley, Min and Michelle allwere treated to delicious cream scones and homemade cupcakes. Together with a raffle, the event raised an impressive £250.50 for Llanberis Mountain Rescue.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated and helped make the afternoon such a success! 💙👏
