An annual community run event held over the third weekend of September. Next: 17th-18th September 2022

Llandovery Sheep Festival is a free celebration of sheep heritage, rural crafts, food, live music and community spirit, taking place in Llandovery on 19th September 2026.

🐑 KNOW YOUR FLEECE?
Think you can spot the difference between a Shetland, a Leicester Longwool, or a Welsh Mountain breed?
Head over to our Know Your Fleece table, feel the different textures, and try matching each fleece to its breed.

How to Play: Get hands on with the fleeces and submit your guesses.
The Prize: Get them all right to earn a raffle ticket for a baaaa-rilliant bundle featuring something to wear, something to sit on, and a voucher for the Kings! 🎁
Raffle Draw: 5:00 PM on festival day.

We’re shearing up for an incredible day out on Saturday, 19th September in historic Llandovery!

Ewe won't want to miss a single minute. Join us to meet wonderful sheep breeds, enjoy live music, sample baa-rilliant local food and drink, browse talented makers, and cheer on the Drovers' Walk.
