The Casa Italia is a popular authentic Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere be it day or night. Known for its fresh ingredients, generous portions and the best value in Italian wine, low prices make the Casa Italia affordable for everyone. The Casa Italia is a bustling eatery with traditional Italian interior, we seat 120 downstairs and the upstairs is available for booking parties and functions for up to 60 people. All food is prepared on the premises daily from the pizza dough right down to the home-made tiramisu. Over the past three decades the likes of Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams have all graced Casa Italia’s tables. Popular both day and night it is open right through from noon until 10pm. The Casa Italia is situated right in the heart of the city centre opposite the famous Elenor Rigby statue. Est.1976

Here’s a little glimpse into Casa Italia in the ’90s and what makes this throwback even more special is we’re celebrating 50 years of the Casa this month! 🎉

From the ’70s to the ’90s and all the way to today, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a meal, made memories and been part of our story 🇮🇹❤️

You may remember that we previously only accepted table bookings for parties of 6 or more, but we’ve made a little change!

We now accept bookings for 4 or more people, so whether you’re planning a catch-up with friends, a family meal or a special celebration, you can now book your table with us🍝🍷

For Gill, Casa Italia has been part of her family story since the very beginning. She first visited with her family when Casa opened its doors in 1976, and 45 years ago, she introduced Barry to the Casa.

Fast forward to today, and the tradition continues. Their children now visit the Casa too, bringing their own friends along and making memories of their own ❤️

And then there’s the queue…what starts as a wait for a table often turns into a conversation with someone new. In fact, they’ve met people from all over the world while waiting - including three Americans on their most recent visit! 🌎

For Les & Sheila, Casa Italia holds some very special memories - including their first visit together on a date many years ago ❤️
