ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Today is our last day at the café 💛
After three wonderful years, today we’ll be closing our doors for the final time. It’s a very emotional moment and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.
To all of our amazing customers who popped in for coffee, breakfast, lunch or a chat after a walk along the beach — you made this place what it was.
Running the café has given us so many special memories and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.
We will be running a limited menu today.
Thank you again for all the support over the past three years. It has meant so much to us 💛

Watch this space as new owners will be taking over soon!

Calm stretches of coast exist in unlikely places, and Littlehampton comes up trumps on that front. Inside this brightpainted box is Kate’s West Beach Café, with windows that roll right back to let those river and beach views roll in. On the banks of the river Arun, it is a top pit stop for those heading to the dunes at Climping Beach, or to the boardwalk for views over the local Napoleonic Fort.

Life is about the simple pleasures here, so pick a bright bar stool and prepare to re-energise. Go for a crab sandwich with a cuppa, or plough into the beer-battered �sh and chips (called ‘pleasingly crisp’ in a Guardian round-up of best seaside eats).

Just what this family-run café’s windswept, sand-blown guests need. Check Facebook for special events such as the bi-weekly motorbike meet-ups.
