It has been an absolutely incredible ride, and we have loved every single minute of it. From the very first day we opened our doors in 2007, to every summer rush, sunset dinner, and cozy winter morning since—we wouldn't change a thing.

A milestone like this only happens because of two things: our amazing community and our incredible people.

Out of the cafe into the gardens for a day this week.
Jane took a trip to exploring the incredible Carbon Gardens and the brilliant Henry Moore: Monumental Nature Exhibition.
Our home is a masterpiece so we are naturally obsessed with the relationship between art, structure, and architecture sitting amongst nature.

Seeing Moore’s massive, organic sculptures interact with the landscape felt incredibly close to home—it’s that exact same dialogue between bold design and natural beauty that we love so much on the beach.

If you appreciate art and architecture, we cannot recommend this stunning exhibition enough. It’s a powerful reminder of how structure can harmonise with the natural world.

It’s Our Birthday!
On Friday, 19th June, East Beach Cafe is turning 19!

Nineteen years of serving fresh seafood on the beach, watching the tides change, and—most importantly—welcoming all of you through our doors.
In this industry, reaching nearly two decades is a milestone we don’t take for granted. We are incredibly proud of our journey, and we are so happy to be heading into another brilliant season with our fantastic team by our side.

But we couldn’t have done any of it without our incredible regulars. You are the heart of this cafe, and we want to celebrate with you!

Join us on Friday night, 19th June, for a special birthday celebration. We have two ways for you to raise a glass with us:
The Birthday Feast: Enjoy a stunning 3-course dinner, complete with a complimentary birthday drink, for just £35 per person.
Fish & Fizz: Prefer to keep it casual? Drop by to enjoy our classic fish and a crisp glass of fizz as we toast to 19 more years.
Spaces for the 3-course dinner are limited, and we’d love nothing more than to fill the room with familiar faces.

Thank you for 19 wonderful years of support, laughs, and beachside memories. Here’s to the next chapter!
