🍝 Nonna’s Bites
Crispy golden lasagna bites filled with slow-cooked bolognese, finished with a snowfall of Parmesan.

🍟 Autumn Harvest Fries
Crispy waffle fries loaded with velvety pumpkin sauce, homemade sun-dried tomatoes and sweet caramelised onion.

🍕 La Toscana Pizza
Tomato base, creamy burrata and Tuscan finocchiona, finished with basil pesto, truffle oil and grated Parmesan.

🍝 Rigatoni d’Autunno
Rigatoni in homemade pumpkin sauce with crumbled Italian sausage, topped with a rich blue cheese fondue.

🍔 The Hot Honey Chick
Our pizza-dough burger stacked with crispy chicken, hot honey, caramelised onion, cheese sauce and a punch of blue Stilton.

Apparently, getting the pizza onto the paddle is all about having the right teacher… 🍕😂

Our pizzaiolo? Years of experience, perfect dough, perfect pizzas… but suddenly getting the pizza onto the paddle becomes an impossible task 🤌

Danilo steps in, boxes still in hand, shows him how it’s done… one quick demonstration later and suddenly Antonio remembers his training 😂

Crisis avoided. Pizza successfully on the paddle.

What an August it’s been at Nero 🇮🇹❤️

New specials, pizzas flying out of the oven, plenty of pasta, busy tables and so many familiar faces walking through our doors… it’s been a brilliant end to the summer here in Linlithgow.

As August comes to a close, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to every single person who joined us for dinner, ordered a takeaway or delivery, picked up a little something from our Italian deli, recommended us to a friend or simply continued to support Nero ❤️

We never take a busy restaurant for granted, and seeing you enjoying what we do makes all the hard work behind the scenes worth it.

Now September is calling, the evenings are getting a little cooler and we’re more than ready for cosy nights, comforting Italian food and plenty more full tables 🇮🇹🍝

The temperature has dropped, the weekend is here, and suddenly a big bowl of pasta sounds exactly right…

Our “Rosa piccante” Pappardelle is tossed in a rich tomato sauce with ’nduja, mascarpone and Parmesan — creamy, a little spicy and proper comfort food for a cooler Friday 🍝

Our meatballs are the star of the show… 🤩

Slowly cooked in a rich ragù until they’re tender and full of flavour.

Then here come the crispy Twister Fries Generously topped with our meatballs and ragù, before being finished with freshly grated Parmesan and parsley.
